Flour Bluff Lions Club is currently trying very hard to raise money to get Flour Bluff it's very own skate-park. The city has already provided 45k and now we are trying to match that donation.
"Rock The Rail" is a huge fundraiser festival that will be held on Sept. 18th at the Bob Hall Pavilion. There will be 10 great local bands, a skate-contest for all ages, tons of vendors, Budweiser products, Roller Derby girls, an H-E-B kids zone, and much much more. SO PLEASE come out and show your support,This event runs from 10am to 10 pm and tickets are only 5$. A very small price to pay to help the youth of Flour Bluff.

Surf is solid head high this morning with some 1 or 2ft overhead sets. Little current, little wind but sloppy this morning. Watch the weather as Tropical Storm Hermine is growing in the Gulf. Expect higher than average tides and some coastal flooding.
